The products have passed the examination of China Medicine ＆ Bioproduct Examine Institute.
1．Acute oral toxicity test: LD50 was 7.3 ± 0.8g/kg, determined as nonpoisonous.
2．Stimulation test: Emulsions and creams with Azone under 10% in content have no stimulation and anaphylactic reaction.
3．The chemical structure: determined by IR, NMR, and MS methods.
4．The purity: determined by GC was over 99% (average of 8 times).
The research on “Pharmacological of Azone and its effect on percutaneous absorption of Muscone” proved that Azone has a good osmosis through skin, minimum residue on skin and might be excreted rapidly. Application Muscone with Azone might increase the concentration of the medicine in blood and organs, very helpful to deduce the dosage of the medicine.
